By Car

If traveling to Portorož by car from Ljubljana's airport, take the main motorway towards Ljubljana, and then take the bypass towards the port city of Koper on the Adriatic Sea.

By Bus

Portorož is well connected by bus. There is a direct bus route from Ljubljana. For timetables, prices and other information, check the website of the Ljubljana Bus Station.
